FAMILY SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (FSR)
One of the precious aspects of life that I value the most is human connection. There are no words to describe how beautiful it is to be able to relate, help, and encourage those around us. I strive to live my life with pure intentions, a hopeful heart, and trying my best to understand how other people may feel during times of struggle. Though understanding feelings from others may not be exactly easy — the least I will do is try. I believe that nobody ever fails if they try.
Prior to graduating from Western Oregon University with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2022 — I lost my best friend. He had a heart of gold, and he had the ability to lighten up any room that he walked into. In high school, he was a varsity athlete, he was the class president, and he had a great sense of humor. For his senior prom — he took a girl who had down syndrome to prom. After that night — I knew why he was my best friend. After his passing — I continued his legacy to treat others with kindness, to stay humble, and to not shy away from showing the world your heart.
