DSP Connections SMS Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These terms apply to the text message programs operated by DSP Connections Inc. (“DSP Connections”, “we”, “us”). By opting in to one of our programs, you agree to receive recurring text messages from us at the mobile number you provided, and you agree to these terms.
These terms cover text messages only. How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at https://dspconnections.org/privacy-policy/.
2. Our Text Message Programs
We operate the following programs. Each one uses its own number. When you opt in, your consent is recorded as service text messages or promotional text messages, as described in section 3.

Replying STOP to a number stops messages from that number only and does not stop the others. See section 6.
3. How to Opt In
Our forms have separate checkboxes, none of them checked by default, for service text messages, promotional text messages and promotional emails. To join, check the boxes for the messages you want and submit the form. You opt in via web form only. The service text messages box adds you to the DSPC Corporate Communication program. The promotional text messages box adds you to both DSPC Events and Activities and DSPC Tickets with one selection. Each of these two programs sends from its own short code. If you want to receive only one of them, reply STOP to the one you do not want. The promotional emails box covers email only and is not part of these text message terms.
If you have opted out of a program and want to rejoin it, text JOIN to that program number. JOIN works only for mobile numbers that previously opted in through one of our forms. It is not a way to sign up for the first time.
When you join, you will receive a confirmation message.
Your consent is not a condition of purchase, of receiving services, or of submitting any form. You may use our services and register for our events without joining any text message program.
Employees and Direct Support Professionals give consent for work-related text messages through a separate process.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on which programs you have joined and on what is happening with your services.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. DSP Connections is not responsible for any fees your carrier charges for sending or receiving messages. We recommend reviewing your carrier terms for details.
6. How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We also honor QUIT, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE and OPT OUT, and any other clear request to stop. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.
Because each program uses its own number, replying STOP stops messages from that number only. If you want to stop all of our text messages, reply STOP to each number you hear from.
You do not have to use a keyword. You can also opt out by contacting us at +1 503 509 9144 or info@dspconnections.org, or by telling any DSP Connections representative what you would like to stop.
To rejoin a program after opting out, text JOIN to that program number. JOIN works only for mobile numbers that previously opted in through one of our forms.
Opt-outs made by keyword take effect immediately. Requests made verbally, whether by phone or in person to a DSP Connections representative, and requests sent to our general email address are processed within 10 business days.
7. How to Get Help
Reply HELP or INFO to any message you receive from us, and we will send you contact details and instructions.
To manage which of our text message programs you receive, text TOPIC to any of our program numbers and we will reply with a personal link to your preferences page.
To change the language of our text messages, text EN, ES or RU to any of our program numbers.

8. Supported Carriers
Our programs are supported by major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Delivery and Availability
Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier and network. We cannot guarantee that messages will be delivered, that they will arrive on time, or that our programs will be available in all areas. DSP Connections is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Your Mobile Number
You must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and you must be authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.
If your mobile number changes, or you stop using it, tell us at +1 503 509 9144 or info@dspconnections.org so that we do not send messages to someone else.
11. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy at https://dspconnections.org/privacy-policy/ explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
12. Record-Keeping
We keep records of when and how you gave consent, including the date and time, the method of consent, together with any opt-out requests. These records are kept securely and may be used to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated on our website and, where appropriate, by text message. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to receive our messages after a change means you accept the revised terms.
