Over the weekend, Kay had her last game of the fall T-Ball season, and it was a perfect day! We had such a great time enjoying the beautiful weather and the company of friends we don’t see as often as we’d like. Life gets busy with our children’s therapies, school, appointments, and other activities. T-Ball provides a precious opportunity for us to gather and have fun, even if it’s just for an hour.
Being part of Miracle League brings me so much happiness. The joy on everyone’s faces and the positive energy at every game day are truly uplifting. The coaches and volunteers are always friendly and helpful, creating an environment where everyone can be themselves without judgment. That’s how it should be everywhere! Kay loves it there and has a special bond with one of the coaches/players, Ray. Ray and Kay are best friends; he often volunteers to be her buddy, accompanying her to bat and making her laugh as they run around the bases together.
While I’m sad to see the season end, I look forward to more T-Ball seasons in the future. I’m also excited about signing Kay up for their indoor soccer league this summer. It’s something new and exciting that I’m sure she will enjoy!
