Every Saturday, GiGi’s Playhouse hosts an Open Play session for two hours, inviting families to come together and let their kids enjoy everything the playhouse has to offer.
Kay and I usually attend every week to hang out with friends, and Kay loves getting out of the house. This time, I got to help by volunteering for Open Play. We arrived a little early to get everything set up.
Summers in Las Vegas are brutal, and I know Kay often gets bored being cooped up at home during these months. Before GiGi’s Playhouse opened, I was constantly searching for activities or events for Kay to enjoy—anything to provide a bit more entertainment during the week. Now, whenever I see that Kay needs a change of scenery, we just head over to GiGi’s Playhouse!
I love that GiGi’s Playhouse feels like a second home for Kay, me, and everyone in our community.
