On Wednesday evening, Kay and I headed to GiGi’s Playhouse for Music Makers! Since this program falls right around Kay’s bedtime routine, we don’t always get to attend, but when we do, it’s always a blast! Kay absolutely loves exploring different instruments and singing along to the songs.
That night, the kids danced, created their own song, played instruments, and had a blast with the giant parachute—always a fan favorite! While most kids love running underneath it, Kay prefers to help lift and move it up and down for the others. It cracks me up every time because she’s so tiny compared to the other adults holding it, yet she’s right there, doing her part!
We try to attend as many programs as we can because each one offers something new—a skill to practice, a chance to learn, or even just an opportunity for Kay to develop a little more patience (which, let’s be honest, is tough for any toddler! Lol).
If you have a GiGi’s Playhouse near you, check it out! There’s something for everyone, whether you want to join a program or volunteer. Giving your time is so rewarding, and you’ll walk away with the best feeling!
