Last weekend we attended GiGi’s Playhouse Halloween party! We always have so much fun at GiGi’s events, and after how much we enjoyed the Halloween party last year, we knew we couldn’t miss it this time. It was a night full of dancing, games, yummy snacks, and happy memories! Everyone looked amazing in their costumes, and the energy in the room was contagious.

Kay’s favorite costume of the night was someone dressed as an alien in one of those big air-filled suits. The costume was soft and squishy, which made it even more fun to hug — something Kay did quite a few times! Whoever was under that costume deserves extra credit for being such a good sport because the kids absolutely loved them. It’s those kinds of simple, joyful moments that make these events so special for families like ours.

We decided to let Maeve stay home for this one since I knew it would be a crowded and noisy event, which can be a little stressful for her. She definitely earned a break, and Kay didn’t mind having a little one-on-one fun.

October has always been one of my favorite months. I love everything about it — the cooler weather, the fall decorations, the excitement of Halloween, and all the community events that come with it. Here in Las Vegas, the temperatures are finally starting to drop a bit, and it feels like the perfect time to enjoy being outside and making memories together.

I’m so grateful for GiGi’s Playhouse and the space they create for families to come together, celebrate, and just have fun. Each event is a reminder of how important inclusion and connection are — and how much joy can come from simply being surrounded by people who understand and support one another.
