Kay’s school hosted another family engagement event, and this time, the focus was on staying active! Several activity stations were set up, including a brain break station where the kids sang and danced along to fun songs.
One of Kay’s favorite parts of these events is bringing home a new book, and this time was no different! Her love for books makes me so happy, even though she isn’t officially reading yet. She has her own way of figuring out what each story is about. Lately, I’ve noticed she also enjoys organizing and stacking her books—taking them out, putting them away, rearranging them into different piles. She could entertain herself with that for ages!
After making her way through the stations (and, of course, doing the Chicken Dance—her absolute favorite), it was time to head home. We spent the rest of the day hanging out, flipping through her book piles (lol), and enjoying a relaxed Friday together.
