Tyler
Behavior Specialist
During college, I was required to complete 20 hours of volunteer work for a class. This led me to volunteer at a day program for adults with intellectual disabilities. The experience was incredibly fulfilling, as I saw firsthand the positive impact, I could have on someone’s quality of life. Inspired by this, I continued volunteering for over a year and even changed my major. I graduated from Western Oregon University with a degree in Community Health Education.
After college, I spent over five years working as a Behavior Professional for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Before joining DSP Connections, I worked as a Services Coordinator with Marion County, supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities for three years.
I am excited to join DSP Connections as the new Behavior Professional. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and son, whether it is golfing, walking, biking, hiking, or kayaking.
