Kay had T-Ball again over the weekend, and it’s hard to believe she only has one more game left in the season! An eight-week season sounds like plenty of time, but it really does fly by. Fall T-Ball is a favorite, as the cooler weather finally makes it enjoyable to be outside running around without worrying about the heat.

We had some special visitors at the game—Kay’s teacher brought her kids, along with another Pre-K teacher from her school. The support Kay receives from her school community is incredible. Knowing she’s surrounded by people who care about her gives me such peace and truly warms my heart.

One of Kay’s favorite moments is when the mascot chicken comes out halfway through the game for the chicken dance. She lights up with excitement, yelling and running over to give him big hugs! She also adores Homer, another mascot dressed as a baseball player with a baseball head—just one more reason she looks forward to each game.

Getting Kay involved in as many activities as possible is so important to me. I’m incredibly thankful for our special needs community and all the inclusive, fun opportunities they create for kids like Kay!
