Family Service Representative (FSR)

Hi, I’m Daniel Hartman, and I’m a Family Service Representative with DSP Connections. I’m usually the person you’ll talk to first when questions come up, when things feel overwhelming, or when you just need someone to walk alongside you. My hope is that, from the moment we connect, you feel supported, seen, and never alone in this process.
I’ve spent over 15 years working with people of all ages and ability levels across schools, behavioral programs, and trauma-informed settings. Those years taught me something I carry into every conversation: behavior is a language, and behind every behavior is a story worth listening to. I approach this work with curiosity, empathy, and a genuine belief that every person has strengths worth celebrating.
My background in Human Development and Family Science has given me tools, but the heart of what I do comes from connection. I believe deeply in meeting families where they are, honoring their experiences, and helping create safe, predictable, and meaningful support for the people they love.
It’s one of the greatest privileges of my career to be invited into someone’s world, to learn what matters most to them, and to help them navigate services with clarity, compassion, and hope. I’m grateful for every family I get to walk beside!
