We had an amazing time celebrating the 4th annual GiGi’s Playhouse GiGiFIT Donut Walk! This event is always so much fun, and the sense of community is truly heartwarming. Seeing so many people come together for such a great cause is inspiring. The beautiful weather made the day even better!

I love introducing others to the magic of GiGi’s Playhouse—it’s an experience that changes your perspective on life. It reminds you to slow down and appreciate the moments right in front of you

One of the highlights was seeing the principal and teachers from Kay’s school—including her own teachers—walking alongside us to advocate for inclusion. There’s something so special about being surrounded by people who share the same love and passion for the Down Syndrome community. It’s a feeling of warmth and impact that’s hard to put into words.

The event was packed with helpful vendors supporting our community in unique ways, and even the local news was there capturing the day. Everywhere you looked, people were taking pictures and videos, dancing, running, and playing. It was a day filled with joy and connection.

Thinking ahead to next year makes me even more excited—especially knowing that Kay’s future service dog, her lifesaving best friend, could be right there with us, making even more unforgettable memories.

Every day, I am incredibly grateful for this life. Grateful for Kay. Grateful for the community that surrounds us.
