Ashlea

Family Service Representative (FSR)

Hi, I’m Ashlea.

I first started working in the I/DD community while I was in college. The woman I supported had cerebral palsy, and she quickly became one of the most important people in my life. Through our time together, I learned so much about the importance of supporting people in living the lives they choose.

After graduating, I became a Personal Agent, helping individuals and families navigate services and supports. Life later brought me full circle when my daughter was born with cerebral palsy. Suddenly, I found myself experiencing the system from a completely different perspective—not only as a professional, but also as a parent. That journey has deepened my understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the challenges families experience every day.

When I’m not working, I love paddle boarding, exploring the Oregon Coast, hiking, reading a good true crime book, and taking care of my plants. I also love spending time outdoors and with the people I care about most.
