Opening day of Kay’s fall t-ball season is officially here!
There’s just something so fun and exciting about opening day, especially when it means getting back out on the field after a little break. And now that the weather is finally starting to cool down a bit… when it wants to, LOL… I’m extra excited for this season and hopefully lots of cooler days ahead!
You could definitely tell Kay missed t-ball. She was full of giggles, smiles, and excitement from the moment she got on the field. She was eager to hit the ball, run the bases, and just be out there doing what she loves. And of course, Maeve was right there for support because she wouldn’t miss opening day either.
One of my favorite things about Miracle League is getting to watch Kay have the same opportunity as her peers to learn what it means to be part of a team, try something new, play a sport she enjoys, and most importantly, just have fun. There’s so much more to t-ball than hitting a ball and running the bases. It’s about being included, making friends, cheering each other on, and getting to experience all those little moments that make being part of a team so special.
We’re looking forward to a fun fall season filled with lots of laughs, big hits, base running, and plenty of memories along the way. Go Kay!
