This year’s Fourth of July was one for the books.
Thanks to Tyler’s dad, we were able to spend the evening in a beautiful suite at one of the casinos he manages, and it ended up being the perfect place to celebrate. The suite offered incredible views of the fireworks all across the city, so we were able to enjoy the show from the comfort of the air conditioning without having to worry about the crowds or the summer heat.
We ordered room service, settled in for the evening, and spent time playing with all of the fun stuffed animals and dumpling toys we had won at the arcade earlier that day. It was one of those simple moments that ended up being just as memorable as the fireworks themselves.
When the fireworks began, we had multiple windows overlooking the city, giving us amazing views from every direction. It felt like we had our own private fireworks show, and being able to watch everything from inside made the experience even more enjoyable.
One of my favorite parts of the night was watching Kay. I think this was the most she has ever enjoyed the Fourth of July. As she’s getting older, it’s been so much fun watching her become more engaged and excited about experiences like this. She loved watching the fireworks light up the sky, and seeing her excitement made the evening even more special.
By the time the last fireworks faded, we were all completely worn out. After such a full day of celebrating, we headed back to the house with tired eyes, full hearts, and another wonderful memory from our Reno trip.
